ANNA Ylagan, daughter of veteran actor Robert Arevalo, lambasted the people behind The Millionaire’s Wife ng GMA 7 dahil sa sobra-sobrang working hours na ipinagtrabaho ng kanyang ama.
“My dad will be angry with me for posting this but he left for taping of his TV series yesterday at 5 A.M.
“He came home at 9:30 A.M. today. Tell me, is that a decent & respectful way to treat a 78-year-old veteran actor?
“Is it now a liability that my dad loves his craft that’s why he’s putting up with such practices?#?StopInhumanWorkingHours.”
‘Yan ang post ni Anna sa kanyang Facebook account. Para kay Anna, hindi makatarungan ang almost 30 HOURS na pagtatrabaho ng kanyang ama gayong ito ay matanda na.
May punto si Anna. Napaka-unfair naman talaga na ang isang beterano ay pinagtatrabaho ng higit sa 24 hours. Parang patayan na ang taping.
“Umaabuso ang network dahil pumapayag mga talents at crew sa inhumans working hours. Hindi porque yan ang sistema eh hindi pwede baguhin. Kung nabago ng mga black ang treatment sa kanila, kung nagawa ng mga babae ng payagang bomoto sila, people in the industry can change the system as long as they unite together.”
“TV Networks wake-up! Turuan niyo naman mag-organize schedule Yang mga EP and RM. Matagal nang reklamo sa inyo yan ng artista.”
Ilan lang ‘yan sa nabasa naming comments sa isang popular website about this issue.
“Call me insensitive but acting job is seasonal esp for the likes of robert arevalo who is lucky enough to get a starring role in the midst of all these young star at his age. I’m not saying that 28 hrs is completely unfair.
“But not inhumane. Doctors and nurses work the same amount, year round; getting paid not even close to half of what actors are getting per episode. I’m pretty certain he wasn’t awake nor working the entire 28 hrs.
“I symphatize and understand the concern that as a daughter of a 78 year old person would have, but if she’s as concerned as she is saying, she wouldnt post anything that would jeopardize the craft of her dad; the job that fed her all these years.
“She’s a grown woman, she can do something like go with her dad at his next taping day, talk to his directors about her concerns, instead of ranting off about this.
“Lets fight for better working conditions for everyone to avoid these,” said another guy.
May puso ba ang isang tao kapag pinagtrabaho niya ng more than 24 hours ang artista niya? Ano ang tingin nila kay sir Robert robot? Ano kayang damage control ang gagawin ng GMA sa pasabog ng anak ni Robert Arevalo?
