Chito kumampi pa rin kay Duterte: Hindi siya bobo para murahin si Pope Francis!

CHITO Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar came defending presidentiable Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa kanyang Twitter account, Chito initially asked, “Question: Do you honestly think na minura ni Duterte si Pope dahil galit sya kay Pope at sa religion for which our Pope stands for? #analyze.”
Then, he came defending Duterte, “I think he used a bad anecdote involving our Pope (paired with a foul mouth) to point out the problem re traffic. Kaya madaming na-offend.
“Di ko sinasabi na maganda yung sinabi niya pero I don’t think that Duterte was attacking our Pope, nor our religion.”
Also on his Facebook account, Chito defended Duterte more, “I value my faith more than anything, even my country. I love and respect the Pope a lot more than Duterte.”Pero honestly, di naman ako na-offend sa speech nya. Di naman ganun katanga si Duterte para murahin nya si Pope sa context na pinapalabas ng ibang tao.
“As I said before, alam ko hindi sya santo. And as I also said before, I don’t always agree with everything Duterte says or does…but I still firmly believe that he is what our country needs.
“Hindi dahil nawalan na ako ng tiwala sa Pilipinas at sa mga Pilipino, but because naniniwala ako na gusto nya talaga ayusin ang Pilipinas. His plans go beyond ‘killing pushers and rapists’ as others limit and dismiss his capabilities to.
“Tingin ko hindi nya rin papabayaan makalusot yung mga kurakot na pulitiko at mga kalokohan na nagaganap sa iba’t ibang gov’t agencies. Again, opinion ko lang naman ito. It may differ from yours, and I will respect that, as long as you respect mine. Peace and goodvibes sa inyong lahat.”
Later, he said, “Tama na muna usapang politics! Baka sabihin ng mga matatalino na nagmamarunong na naman ako. Haha! Goodnyt! Peace and good vibes! God bless!”
We feel that your idol disrespected the Pope when he cursed him. If he can disrespect the Pope, he can do it to lesser known mortals or plain Juan.
But some questioned Chito’s credibility. Magsama na lang daw sila ni Duterte. One anti-Duterte said, “Pareho kang kayong nakakasuka. Sana wag mong pagsisihan ang pagkampi mo sa kanya.”
