HI! I’m Norma Balingit.
I am presently employed in a reputable company. I went to PhilHealth to update my present address only to find out that my daughter was not included in the MDR as my dependent.
She has turned 21 years old the other day. According to the staff of PhilHealth, it automatically deleted once a dependent turned 21 years old even though he/she is still a student. Please enlighten me on this.
I think, it is not proper to delete a dependent especially your own child if he/she is not yet working. I hope PhilHealth will make necessary amendments for this policy because nobody wants to be unemployed.
