Ex-Camarines Norte gov kinasuhan kaugnay ng fertilizer fund scam

KINASUHAN ng graft si dating Camarines Norte governor Jesus Typoco matapos masangkot sa umano’y fertilizer fund scam.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales na may ebidensiya para kasuhan si Typoco ng paglabag sa section 3(e) ng Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Bukod kay Typoco, kinasuhan din sina Provincial Accountant Maribeth Malaluan, mga miyembro ng Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) na sina Jose Atienza, Lorna Coreses, Cesar Paita, Rodolfo Salamero, Jose Rene Ruidera, at Alex Rivera ng Hexaphil Agriventures, Inc. (Hexaphil) ng paglabag sa section 3(e) ng Republic Act 3019 at paglabag sa 65.3(1) ng Republic Act No. 9184 (Government Procurement Reform Act).
Sinabi ng Ombudsman na noong Abril 16,2004 ibinigay ni Typoco ang kontrata para sa pagbili ng 7,142 bote ng Hexaphil nang hindi sumasailalim sa walang public bidding.
