De Lima binatikos ang isinusulong na hospital arrest ng Reyes brothers
BINATIKOS ni Justice Secretary Leila de Lima ang hirit na hospital arrest ng magkapatid na sina dating Palawan governor Joel Reyes at dating Coron mayor Mario Reyes.
“Enough of that because nakakahiya po ang justice system natin kung ganun. It [hospital arrest] is a mockery of our justice system,” sabi ni de Lima.
Ito’y matapos ang ulat na plano ng magkapatid na Reyes na maghain ng petisyon para sa kanilang hospital arrest.
“We will vigorously oppose such move because first of all, there is no basis for that and second, inaabuso na yan. Tama na dapat. Wala na dapat ganyan. Daming mga prisoners na may health problems, ordinary prisoners… hindi naman sila pinagbibigyan. Yung mga privileged few lang napagbibigyan ng ganyan,” dagdag ni de Lima.
