- September 25, 2012 - 06:04 PM

We think that Courtney Blooding, Charice’s manager, is just making papansin when she said a mouthful against Filipino’s latest pride, Jessica Sanchez.

“It’s kind of wrong to say Jessica is part of Filipino pride when she is American before anything else.

If only the people of the Philippines would stop looking elsewhere and focus on local things, maybe they could see the value of many of  the great people and resources there,” Blooding tweeted.

While it may be true that by citizenship Jessica is not Pinoy, she has Filipino blood, something which Blooding, conveniently forgot.

Blooding’s rants on Twitter was ill-timed as Jessica was about to promote her and other American Idol top 10 finalists’ concert in the country.

Parang bitter si Blooding now that the public’s attention is focused on Jessica and not her ward, Charice.

What is wrong with idolizing Jessica? And why are you affected when Pinoys consider Jessica as Filipinos’ pride when you’re  not a Filipino yourself.
