Anyare: Carlo J. Caparas, Boss Vic naglahong parang bula sa TV5
QUITE disturbing ang pananahimik ngayon ng Viva Entertainment Boss na si Vic del Rosario sa TV kung paanong nakabibingi ang nilikha nitong ingay at the start of 2016 sa dami at laki ng kanilang mga proyekto in partnership with TV5.
Hindi lang ang TV5 ang naging katuwang ng Viva, maging si direk Carlo J. Caparas whose classic komiks materials na ginawan na ng film version in the past had seen restaging this time with jaw-dropping visual effects and production values worthy of note.
Tandang-tanda pa namin ang pakikipagkuwentuhan namin kay Tita Donna Villa sa isang sulok ng Plaza Ibarra during the presscon of Ang Panday ni Richard Gutierrez, excited siya dahil bukod sa nobelang ‘yon at sa Tasya Fantasya na pinagbidahan naman nina Shy Carlos at Mark Neumann, Viva TV had also acquired the rights to other Caparas’ works na anytime soon ay bubulaga na lang sa telebisyon.
However, to this day, none of direk Carlo’s obras had seen the light of day. Wala nang nabalitaan kung kabahagi pa rin ba ang Viva TV sa planong palakasin ang programming ng TV5. Basta nawala lang si Boss Vic sa eksena, even his shadow had blended with the dark.
Sayang dahil isang respetadong kumpanya ang pagmamay-ari ni Boss Vic in whose film archives most well-crafted Pinoy movies na maaaring isalin sa telebisyon are found.
To determine what had gone wrong somewhere is like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle.
