Sinimulan ni Vice Ganda ang kanyang “#notosuicide” campaign sa pamamagitan ng Instagram. Ito’y matapos ngang magulantang ang madlang pipol sa pagpapakamatay ni Julia Louise, ang anak ng showbiz couple na sina Nonie at Shamaine Buencamino.
Ayon sa TV host-comedian, maaari namang maiwasan ang mga insidente ng pagsu-suicide kung matututo lang ang bawat isa na magpahalaga sa bawat isa.
Isang litrato ang ipinost ni Vice sa IG kasama si Angeline Quinto na may caption na: “Everyone has to have a friend.”
“And your friend needs to be assured that he has a friend in you. So that in times of trouble he knows that he has someone to turn to.
That he is loved. That he is never alone because he has a friend. A friend who listens, never judges, understands and sticks with him until his tears are dry.
Let us be our friends’ strength. Let’s keep them. Don’t lose them. #NoToSuicide.”
