“…the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation is hereby directed to BAR/PROHIBIT the accused from leaving the Philippines for any destination abroad, either by air or sea transportation, except by prior written permission duly secured from and granted by this Court.”
Kasama ni Ricketts sa kaso sina OMB executive director Cyrus Paul Valenzuela, Enforcement and Inspection Division head Manuel Mangubat, investigation agent Joseph Arnaldo, at computer operator Glenn Perez.
Sila ay sinampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act matapos umanong ibalik ang mga nakumpiska nitong pirates DVD at CD sa Sky High Marketing Corp., sa Quiapo, Manila noong Mayo 27, 2010.
Ang trak umano ng Sky High ay binigyan ng pass upang makalabas sa compound ng OMB sa Scout Limbaga St., Quezon City.
Ang mga piniratang CD at DVD ayon sa Ombudsman ay mahalaga dahil ang mga ito ang gagamiting ebidensya sa kaso na hindi rin isinampa.
