Eto ang wish ko kay Pope

pope francis

Boots Anson-Roa:

“Even before our family thought of praying for it, the Papal Committee invited us to be part of the Encounter with Families at Mall of Asia on Jan. 16. My 100-year-old mother-in-law, Remedios Enriquez-Rodrigo, will present a welcome garland and my husband King will read the welcome message on behalf of the families in attendance.

“I have nothing material and tangible in mind as a gift to or from the Pope. His visit and blessings are his greatest gifts to us. Our love, prayers and Christ-like living are our greatest gifts to him.

I pray I don’t get overwhelmed by Pope Francis’ presence and call him ‘Sir’ instead of ‘Your Holiness,’ as I did in 1981 when my family was chosen for special audience with the now-St. John Paul II.”

Jamie Rivera:

“This is really a big blessing sa ating lahat. At hindi natin alam kung kailan ulit tayo bibisitahin ng susunod na Santo Papa. Kaya this is something that we should all look forward to and we should all feel blessed.

“At kapag nakaharap ko siya, magpapasalamat ako at the same time sasabihin ko sa kanya we are also praying for you and please continue to pray for our country.”

Boy Abunda: “I would request for prayers for my whole family. I would ask Pope Francis to tell God how thankful I am to be given a new life, and that my Nanay’s condition continues to improve.

I would also ask him to help me pray for forgiveness for all the sins I’ve committed in the past. I would do this because I know that the Pope is closest to God.”
