ARCHERS reresbak sa FEU Tamaraws

MAGKAKAROON ng pagkakataon ang nagdedepensang kampeong De La Salle University na maipaghiganti ang isa sa dalawang kabiguang nalasap sa unang round sa pagbangga nito sa Far Eastern University ngayon sa 77th UAAP men’s basketball tournament sa Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.

Tampok na laro ang nasabing tagisan na magsisimula matapos ang pagtutuos ng University of Santo Tomas  at ng wala pang panalong  University of the Philippines sa ganap na ika-2 ng hapon.

May 4-5 karta ang Tigers at kailangang manumbalik ang dating tikas para makapasok  sa Final Four. Lumasap ang Archers ng 55-66 pagkatalo kontra Tamaraws sa una nitong laro sa season.

Muli silang nabigo sa sumunod na laro pero tumuhog ang tropa ni coach Juno Sauler  ng pitong sunod na panalo para  makasama  sa unang puwesto ang FEU na may  7-2 baraha rin.

Solid na ang puwersa ng Archers dahil bumalik na ang mga players na nasa injury list tulad nina Arnold Van Opstal, Norbert Torres at Kib Montalbo para makatulong  sa mga kamador ng La Salle na sina  Jeric Teng, Almond Vosotros at Jason Perkins.

“Kumpleto na sila kaya nakakatakot. But we will prepare for them and we will try,” wika ni Tamaraws coach Nash Racela.
Ang Tamaraws ay sasandal kina Mark Belo, Michael Tolomia, Roger Pogoy at Carl Cruz.
