LEA Salonga is a Filipino music icon.
She has proven herself to many, hindi lang sa bansa natin kundi sa buong mundo, that she is much over and above other local artists dala na rin ng kanyang exemplary talents as a singer and stage performer.
Grabe ang honor na ibinigay niya sa ating bansa when she did “Miss Saigon” at huwag sana nating kalimutan iyon.
She has represented our country to the world with so much respect and humility. In fairness naman kay Ms. Lea, hindi siya kailanman nagkalat – she really studied her homeworks everytime na sumampa siya sa stage.
Recently ay may binitawang salita si Lea – expressing her disappointment sa pagkakapuno ng non-singer na si Anne Curtis ng Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Maraming fans ang nag-react at tinatarayan si Lea at binabalikan ito ng mga salitang laos and what nots.
Totoo naman ang sinabi ni Lea e, hindi naman talaga marunong kumanta si Anne at aminado siya du’n.
Kumbaga, hindi nga talaga tayo dapat matuwa sa sisteng ito dahil parang nag-wane na ang interest ng Pinoy audience sa matitinong peroformers.
Yung shows ng mga magagaling na singers ay nilalangaw samantalang ang shows ng walang kakuwenta-kuwentang mga artists ay napupuno.
That’s very alarming indeed. I’m not saying na walang kuwentang performer – Anne is a very good performer – comic though.
Pero kung nagsabi man si Lea na hindi siya impressed sa boses ni Anne ay respetuhin natin dahil opinyon niya iyon and she has every right to feel that way.
Kung sa karapatan, merong karapatan si Lea na magtaray because of her status. Pero don’t get her wrong – she is just expressing a though but nothing personal naman siguro of Anne.
Sobra naman kasing mag-react ag mga fans Anne. Hayaan na.
Kung si Anne ang mag-react, that’s fine. She has to defend herself too.
Pero dapat ay maisip rin ni Anne that Lea is right.
Nakakatakot na nga kasi ang nangyayari lately, dahil ang mga projects ng non-singers sa musical events ang siyang napupuno while those of real singers ay hirap bumenta.
