Kapag niligawan ni David Archuleta?
“CHOOSY pa ba ako?!” Ito ang naging reaksiyon ni Jasmine Curtis-Smith nang tanungin kung payag ba siyang maging girlfriend ng international singer na si David Archuleta.
Si David ang leading man ni Jasmine sa bagong primetime mini-series ng TV5 na Nandito Ako.
Chika ng sister ni Anne Curtis, naniniwala siya na magaganap ang isang bagay kung talagang nakatakdang mangyari, “I don’t know kung liligawan niya ako.
Ha-hahaha! Well, one of my lines dito sa show, ‘Believe and everything will be possible.'”
Dagdag pa ng dalaga, “Well, if it happens, I’m not gonna say that it will, and I’m not expecting that it will.
But if it happens, it happens. But of course, I respect what he’s doing.
“Kasi, di ba, he has a mission (religious mission) and I respect that.
I also admire his passion for music,” paliwanag pa ni Jasmine na gumaganap na isang mahirap sa seryeng Nandito Ako, isa siya sa mga anak ni Gelli de Belen sa kuwento.
Magsisimula na ito sa Feb. 20 under the direction of Mac Alejandre.
“But you know, right now what’s important is our friendship. And for me, he’s the greatest person I know from the international scene, basically because he’s grounded.
“He loves his family. From the short time that we’ve been together, naramdaman ko how much he would give for his family, for his mom especially. And being a Mama’s girl, siyempre napa-wow ako.
“Wow, he loves his mom so much. At the same time, he still has room for himself and that’s important,” chika ng isa sa mga prinsesa ng TV5.
Aminado rin si Jasmine na fan talaga siya ni David, “Yes, I’m a fan. I didn’t get to follow American Idol when he was in it pero noong umuwi po ako dito sa Pilipinas, my Ate (Anne) has his album already.
Lagi po kasi akong sumasama kay Ate, so nakita ko yung album niya sa iPad ni Ate. When I listened to it, sabi ko, ang galing niya,” say pa ni Jasmine.
Ang isa pang TV5 princess na si Eula Caballero ang magiging kaagaw ni Jasmine kay David sa kuwento ng Nandito Ako, at natanong nga si Jasmine kung ano ang feeling na siya ang napili bilang isa sa leading ladies ng American Idol runner-up.
“Siyempre thankful po ako. Overwhelmed pa rin po ako hanggang ngayon kasi every day parang hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Sinasabi ko, ‘Totoo ba ito? Is this a dream?’
Kasi never ko talagang na-imagine na mangyayari ito sa akin especially because kaka-start pa lang ng career.”
Hirit pa ng dalaga, “Working with David is such a pleasure. I’m sure everyone agrees na he’s easy to work with.
He’s willing to listen and to grow and to adjust to whatever needs to be done. Napaka-willing niya talaga to do anything, e.
“Hindi talaga siya titigil sa isang eksena hangga’t hindi niya naibigay nang buong puso.
Lahat po kami proud sa kanya kasi talaga pong nakita namin yung progress niya in these three weeks na nakasama namin siya,” pagmamalaki pa ng sister ni Anne sa kanyang partner.
Ang iba pang celebrities na kasama sa Nandito Ako ay sina Aiko Melendez, G Toengi, Alwyn Uytingco, Ina Feleo at marami pang iba.
