Tanggap na ni Chynna Ortaleza na isa siyang GMA “Kontrabida”. Time really flies. Just a decade ago, the four top young stars of GMA were Chynna and Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin and Railey Valeroso then starring in Click.
Chynna and Richard even opened the Love To Love series then with their own story Maid To Order although in real life, sila ni Railey ang nagkakaigihan noon pa lang. Richard is now independent, Angel is in the other network and split na sila ni Railey who is now out of showbiz na but Chynna is still here.
Of course she’s not playing bida anymore but our friend doesn’t mind playing villain roles dahil noon pa man, she’s always saying mas mahaba ang buhay ng kontrabida sa showbiz kaysa bida and it’s really true. Right now, Chynna is enlisted to play the role of Celine Villanca in the comedy-drama series Dading that piloted just this Monday as part of the GMA Afternoon Prime latest offering. Siya ang privileged and possessive fiancé of Joemer played by Benjamin Alves.
Her evil pursuits involve preventing Joemer from reconciling with his former flame Beth played by Glaiza de Castro and bonding with their love child Precious played by Zarah Mae Deligero.
Sabi nga niya, kumbaga, she invested so much in Joemer for him to be a decent person. Hindi siya papayag na basta na lang mawala sa kanya si Joemer. Aba, she could always go back to being a bida.
Tingnan niyo na lang ang kasama niya sa Dading na si Glaiza – minsan bida minsan kontrabida and Chynna can do that too.
