HINDI rin nagpahuli si Senador Nancy Binay sa pagbatikos sa Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All-in edition dahil sa nude challenge na ginawa nito para sa mga kalahok.
Tinawag ito ni Binay na iresponsable at isang uri na rin ng pangba-blackmail and nude challenge ng programa.
“This might be a reality show but its contestants, especially its female housemates, should be accorded with respect without compromising their dignity and their rights as women,” sabi ni BInay.
Nangako si Binay na maghahain ng resolusyon kung saan hihilingin niya sa Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) na imbestigahan ang posibleng “ethical breach” na nagawa ng PBB All-In Edition sa episode nito noong Hunyo 4, at ang hamong ibinigay sa 23-taong-gulang na kalahok na si Jayme Jalandoni matapos siyang sabihang mag-pose ng hubo’t-hubad para sa painting-for-charity.
“I believe this is the second time PBB went overboard. How far can reality TV go for high ratings? Will we allow the network to exploit our women and children for ratings sake,” sabi ni Binay.
Ayon pa kay Binay, hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na nasangkot sa kontrobersiya ang PBB.
“In 2009, PBB was also in a similar morality and decency issue in its Naked Fan Dance challenge where the housemates were made to wear flimsy underwear to cover their private parts,” dagdag ni Binay.
