Miriam nagbabalak tapatan si Binay sa 2013
PINAG-IISIPAN ni Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago na muling tumakbo bilang pangulo ng Pilipinas dahil sa lumalalang katiwalian sa bansa.
“If corruption is this bad, maybe I should run for president, on the same anti-corruption platform from which I have fulminated all these years,” ani Santiago.
Kasabay nito, pumalag si Santiago sa pagkakadawit ng kanyang pangalan sa listahan ng whistleblower na si Benhur Luy.
“For the record, I denounce as false, the allegations against me drawn from the Luy list. All the documents are fake. I have no clue about the alleged details, which are all falsified or fictitious,” dagdag niya.
Nagbanta naman si Santiago na kukum-prontahin niya sina Luy at Napoles kapag dumalo sila sa pagdinig sa Senado.
“Presumably, there are other people who, like me, are innocent, but whose names and identities have been stolen,” sabi pa ni Santiago.
Batay umano sa listahan ni Luy, tinatayang P10 milyon ng pork barrel ni Santiago ay nagamit sa mga pekeng NGO ni Napoles.
