ELLEN Tordesillas’ “How not to conduct an interview, Kris Aquino style” article was the talk of the town on social media.
Having read the article which talks about Kris Aquino’s display of her kayabangan to stratospheric proportion and capping it with a “wag tularan” one-liner kung magkakaroon si Ellen ng training sa aspiring journalists, the article is an eye opener for TV hosts like Kris.
Tama lahat ng sinabi ni Ms. Ellen especially when Kris bragged about “My Little Bossings” higher first-day gross than the first “Spiderman” movie of Andrew Garfield.
“The two movies were not shown at the same time. The gall to compare a Spiderman movie to the inane My Little Bossings. It’s like comparing a painting by Ben Cab to a tarpaulin streamer,” Ellen wrote, something which reeks of truth.
Easily, people in the social media reacted favorably to Ellen’s article, one of them director Joey Reyes. Cynthia Patag, erstwhile singer, posted direk Joey’s statement which read: “There is truth in the saying that even the most worthless can find some use if you only have the right attitude and the proper approach.

One reader noted, “That’s what I’ve noticed too. Bimby should not have been part of that interview, it was a big distraction. Nakakahiya. She could have done that behind the camera if her purpose is to introduce Bimby to Garfield personally.

Actually, dapat mag-training si Kris about hosting disciplines. Hosting is not all about talking, it’s bringing out the best in the one being interviewed. It’s not about the interviewer’s moment. Most of all, hosting is not about BRAGGADOCCIO!
