Christian and Cris acting are serviceable. We know how hard it is to do their acting na kailangan ay malapit sa acting nina Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore without adjusting a lot although nahihirapan kaming tingnan si Christian kapag sad song na ang kinakanta at nagku-contort ang mukha niya at si Cris naman, hindi consistent ang accent minsan meron minsan wala but these are not bad enough to hate the two dahil surprisingly.
May chemistry naman ang dalawa lalo na kapag naghahalikan sila a colleague mentioned that baka ma-develop ang isa’t isa lalo na’t pareho silang single.
Hans is good, pleasant in the eyes, good voice and an eye candy lalo na nang naghubad siya to show his six pack abs.
It is Ima who actually stole the show bilang si Oda Mae Brown.
Again hindi kami surprised dahil in the original movie, it was Whoopi Goldberg playing the character who also almost stole the movie and gave her the Oscar award for Supporting Actress.
Every time na lumalabas siya, we are assured of a good time and big laugh lalo na sa ending, the only changed na ginawa sa movie and musical adaptation.
Her Tina Turner performance was a showstopper to think there was no Tina Turner performance sa movie imagine our delight. Kung may iba pa kaming misgivings sa musical, Ima saved it hands down so no big problems for us.
“Ghost The Musical” will run in the Carlos Romulo Auditorium sa RCBC Makati until May 11 so better catch it while you can. For what it’s worth, there’s Ima to delight and tantalize you with her tour de force performance the moment she entered the stage.
