Ang American TV host na si Ellen DeGeneres ang tinanghal na most powerful gay celebrity sa US ngayong taon. Si Ellen, 56, ay kasal sa aktres na si Portia de Rossi.
Siya ang nasa number one spot ng Out magazine 2014 Power List, nagbibigay pagkilala sa mga miyembro ng LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) sa Amerika.
Sa official website nito, sinabi ng Out magazine na, “Everybody loves Ellen, and that’s one of the reasons she’s regained the top spot.”
“In March, The Ellen DeGeneres Show shattered its own 10-year ratings record in the episode that immediately followed her Academy Awards hosting gig, which also gave the awards its best ratings since 2004.
“And her star-studded Oscars selfie almost shut down Twitter when the pic became the most retweeted ever,” sabi pa sa website.
Ang iba pa sa mga kilalang gay personality na nasa list ay sina Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, actor Neil Patrick Harris, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper at si Glee actress Jane Lynch.
