HINDI nagustuhan ni Derek Ramsay ang tsikang ginagamit niya ang Queen of All Media na si Kris Aquino para lang pag-usapan siya. Wala kasing regular na show sa TV5 ngayon ang aktor, ang huli pa niyang serye sa Singko ay ang For Love or Money na matagal nang natapos.
Nag-umpisa ang tsika ng gamitan nang magkita sina Derek at Kris sa NAIA Terminal 2 ilang linggo na ang nakararaan na agad namang kinlaro ng aktor. Ayon kay Derek may pinanggalingan siya that time at si Kris naman ay galing sa ibang bansa at hindi niya ito sinundo.
“We’re friends, we’re very good friends and not just to me, she’s a friend of the family. I just wanna clear, walang date na naganap with my folks, my father. He went over to her house to do a free survey of the modification of her security coz that’s our business.
“And that was the day of my parents’ anniversary, and my dad enjoys Kris’ company. She’s very entertaining, she’s very nice to talk to, and she’s really a real friend.
“And my father invited Kris to Club Mwah because my dad loves Club Mwah and that’s where they were going to spend their 40th anniversary. Pero hindi naman nakasama si Kris.
I’m the one who has a friendship with Kris, so I know kung ginagamit ako. “From the help and advice that Kris has given me, kung ano ‘yung mga ipinakita niya sa akin, hindi ako maniniwala na ginamit niya ako.
I respect that she knows my family and she’s not that type of person. “Nag-comment ako na, ‘You really have a big heart for your friends.’ I mean what I said. I don’t feel like I’ve been used. She’s Kris Aquino, she has everything.
It kinda hurt na every time I’m linked with somebody, it’s always that I’m using them. “And para sa akin I’ve worked hard naman in this industry, I think I’ve (prove) you know, given naman a lot to get to where I am.
It’s not that nanggagamit ako ng tao para makarating ako kung saan ako ngayon. So, ‘yun lang,” mahabang esplika ng aktor.
May non-showbiz girl na dine-date ngayon si Derek na ayaw na niyang idetalye, “I promised myself na when it comes to my love life, I wanna be more private.
I mentioned that to everybody before. I am seeing someone but, for me, I want to keep that to myself because I’m getting older. And if masaya ang puso ko, yes, masaya ang puso ko,” sabi pa ng aktor.
May gagawing pelikula sina Kris at Derek sa Regal Films (pumirma na siya ng 2-picture contract), ayon sa plano ni Mother Lily Monteverde at manager ng aktor na si Jojie Dingcong na kung magkakasundo sa schedule ay isasali nila sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2014, “Tutal Horror Queen naman si Kris, puwede, puwedeng gawin ang ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’,” say ni Jojie.
Ang alam namin ay may gagawin si Kris sa Star Cinema na “Maria Leonora Teresa” ang titulo at si Wenn Deramas ang magdidirek? May plano ring kunin sina Kris at Derek ng Unitel.
At may offer din na muling magsama sina Vic Sotto at Kris for MMFF 2014? Anyway, sa ginanap na contract signing ni Derek ay nabanggit ni Mother Lily na ang dalawang pelikulang pinirmahan ng aktor sa kanya ay posibleng madagdagan pa.
Si Marian Rivera ang makakapareha ni Derek sa unang pelikula niya sa Regal.
