Pinoy cagers nagtala ng Guinness record

PARA sa isang basketball loving country, ang Pilipinas ay nakagawa ng isang maipagmamalaking bagay matapos na magtala ng panibagong record ang isang grupo ng walang kapagurang basketbolista para sa Guinness Book of World Records kahapon.

Dalawampu’t apat na manlalaro ang naglaro sa Philippine Basketball Marathon na sinimulan noong Lunes at natapos nitong Sabado sa Meralco gym para sa kabuuang 120 oras, isang minuto at 7.8 segundo.

Ang 23 lalaki at isang babae na hindi umalintana sa pagod at hapo ay sina Larry Macaanpan, Owen Mabaga, Robbie Dell Macatbag, John Ray Mappala, Sandy Cenal Abraham Compuesto III, Evan Lazana, Carlo Ferdinand Vasquez, Helino Francisco Jr., Kerr Bangeles, Harold Lomtong, Luis Jay Volante, Santos Tominio, Justo Quita Jr., Hazel Foja, Robert Clark Bear, Paul Michael dela Peña, Adin Rome Santos, Renell Montecillo, Jopet Quiro, lady baller Maricar Convencido at Amerikanong sina Tony Tatar, Chuck Williams at Jeffrey Moore.

Ang record ay pinatotohanan ni Guinness adjudicator Turath Alsaraf.
