Cherie Gil nag-walkout sa taping ng Ikaw Lamang

NAGING controversial ang pagwo-walkout daw ni Cherie Gil sa isang soap opera na pinagbibidahan nina Kim Chiu at Coco Martin.Matapos mag-walkout, nagpatutsada si Cherie sa Twitter and said, “Work ethics?

Why can’t it exist in the world of soaps? Sadly it doesn’t. There must be a better way.” To the rescue naman kaagad ang PR ng programa na si Eric John Salut who wrote, “To set the record straight: Cherie Gil is supposed shoot her scenes till 2AM (the usual cut off) but she wanted to leave at 10PM to attend a send off party.

Siyempre, hindi siya pinayagan ng production kasi hindi siya nagpaalam ahead of time. She was permitted to a 2-week leave for her musical play. The day she walked out of the taping was the day she resumed taping for Ikaw Lamang.”

Before that, he made rants against Cherie. “Why blame the production? Why blame the writers? This is not fair! Teka lang ha.”
“2AM ang cut off mo, dahil may party gusto mong umalis ng 10PM?

Nasaan ang work ethics na sinasabi mo?” sabi ni Eric John. “It pains me everytime production and creative staff members are blamed! Sila na lang lagi? Sila na lang lagi ang walang work ethics?” he added.

Apparently, Cherie lamented some system in the production of soaps sa ABS-CBN, “If we can only take our jobs seriously and with dignity then there would be better harmony and respect amongst us on the set.

It is not my pleasure to be upset and finally walkout mind you. I wake up still feeling frustrated albeit guilty for what it’s worth I trust you all get the point. I take responsibility for my actions and I sure hope you do the same.

So much time and energy wasted for the most inconsequential things which could be very well avoided. Finally, to all departments, get some BALLS!!!

“And please STOP being ROBOTS! Let’s all tell a good story  and happily work together. Writers please! Finish those scripts properly already. There’s got to be some better changes by now.

Actually, we admire Cherie’s audacity to speak her mind. She’s got BALLS! Cherie will not WALKOUT for a FLIMSY reason. We feel that there’s more to it than what it really is.
