After almost 20 years later, nakausap namin ang isa sa aming idols of our youth back nang kami pa ay nahihilig sa PBA, former Purefoods Forward Alvin Patrimonio.

He and his son Angelo Patrimonio are doing cameos for the launching movie of Shalala na “Echoserang Frog” from Scenema Concepts. Written and directed by Joven Tan, this opens nationwide on April 2 with a premiere night sa Fisher Mall on March 31, the first movie na magpi-premiere sa bagong mall.

Alvin has aged gracefully katulad ng mga kasabayan niyang players. Sila naman kasi ang mga good boys of PBA noon, the original matinee idols kasama sina Jerry Codinera, Benjie Paras and Paul Alvarez.

Aba, their launching movie noon for Regal Films na “Last Two Minutes” in the middle of 90s broke a lot of record and was the number one movie of that film festival ha so imagine how big they were then.

But having said that, mga good boys nga sila noong araw pero mga pilyo pa rin. Dahil FC (feeling close) na kami during the course of interview, we actually asked Alvin kung bakit medyo teaser siya noong bata siya.
