Marian vs Coco: mas tumitindi ang labanan sa primetime

Taob ang Ikaw Lamang sa Carmela.  The television industry believes in the numbers provided by AGB Nielsen Philippines when it comes to ratings so when we receive contradicting report kung sino ang nananalo sa ratings games, we can always rely on the reports given to us what is true and what is plain PR.

One good example is the ratings between GMA’s Carmela and the new ABS soap Ikaw Lamang. Ayon sa ilang pralala, pinataob daw ng Ikaw Lamang ang soap nina Marian Rivera and Alden Richards sa TeleBabad right after Kambal Sirena.

That is contrary actually to the comparative programs ratings performance summary of March 12, Wednesday, sa Mega Manila household, win ang Carmela over Ikaw Lamang. Carmela generated 22.6 percent that night, the highest rating sa GMA TeleBabad block while Ikaw Lamang got 21.8 percent. Just FYI, Rhodora X got 19.3 that night against Angel Locsin’s The Legal Wife with just 17 percent so back to back win ang Carmela and Rhodora X that night.

Kaya nga hindi rin totoo ang balitang ika-cut short ang Carmela dahil with good ratings and specially heavy commercial load, no way GMA will do this.

With the competition heating up this week dahil magsisilakihan na ang bida ng katapat na show nina Marian and Alden na sina Coco Martin and Kim Chiu, we’d be more interested to watch the ratings game between the two primetime shows as this is the battle of the primetime queen of GMA and ABS’ recognized primetime king naman na si Coco.
