Occupational safety seminar

Lisa Soriano - March 01, 2014 - 03:00 AM

I’M Jonathan Dela Cruz of Pangasinan. I have just passed my Civil Engineering Board Examination.
Most of the companies na inaaplayan ko are looking for an Occupational Safety Seminar. How can I undergo this seminar?
Whom and where to get in touch? Then how much is the seminar fee and how many days will it take? Please give me information about my queries.
Thank you.
Jonathan
REPLY: Dear Engr. Jonathan Dela Cruz,

Congratulations for passing the Civil Engineering Board Examination! We at the Occupational Safety and Health Center are very much pleased that more and more qualified young men and women are joining the workforce. If you are planning to pursue a career in the construction industry, we suggest that you take the mandatory, 40-hour Construction Safety Training.

The five-day training is required for all safety officers.
With the training cost of P3,500.00, this is conducted by the Occupational safety and Health Center. You may get in contact with our Safety Control Division at tel. no. 924-2411.

You may also opt to take this course from the DOLE-accredited Safety Training Organizations (STOs).
The list of acredited STOs and their contact numbers is posted on our website: www.oshc.dole.gov.ph

Thank you and best regards,
