Win din pala si Dingdong Dantes sa Vietnam TV award. We were among the first to write about Marian Rivera’s winning sa isang TV show sa Vietnam network, ang Today TV show sa SNTV.
Kung hindi kasi kami nagkakamali, kami ang latest press who went to Vietnam so we experienced the popularity of certain local stars there dahil pinalalabas ang ilang soaps natin doon dubbed in Vietnamese.
Alam naming big hit ang unang pagsasama nina Marian and boyfriend Dingdong na Marimar sa Vietnam na sinundan pa ng second soap nila na Dyesebel kaya ganoon na lang sila kasikat.
Now, bukod pala kay Marian, may special award din ang primetime king ng GMA. Dingdong received the largest number of votes in the top foreign actor category while Marian topped the list in the foreign actress category.
Overall, Marian, who got the highest number of online votes, bagged the Most Favourite Foreign Actress recognition from Today TV. Two local Vietnamese actor and actress also competed alongside Dingdong and Marian for the category.
Recently, bumisita si Marian sa Vietnam where she was treated as a superstar and before that, during the Genesis taping set visit namin, nandoon naman ang mga executives and TV crew of SNTV to interview Dingdong so walang halong katsipang pralala ang pagkasikat ng dalawa doon.
Of course this will continue this year dahil hinihintay na ng Vietnamese fans nila ang Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Akin Tadyang (Dangerous Love) that will start airing soon dubbed in Vietnamese.
