Solenn Heusaff nagpaliwanag na tungkol sa ‘Hostage Taking’ sa India

Miscommunication lang daw ang nangyari sa “Mumbai Love”. For the record, ganito ang pagkakasunod-sunod na kuwento about what supposedly happened sa “Mumbai Love” shooting sa India.

Martin Escudero, one of the leads of the movie told us their harrowing experience sa hotel kung saan almost “hijacked” sila hanggang hindi sila nagbabayad ng mafia fee.

When we wrote it, we received a call from Martin to delete this and we did. Then, we saw Kiko Matos in Tomas Morato, ang kuwento niya, he and Martin were threatened na bubugbugin kung hindi magbabayad ang production.

Again we wrote it and with question na what is true or not. Finally, we saw Solenn Heussaff at siya ang unang nag-downplay ng kuwento that there is no such incidence.

They were just inside the hotel waiting for the production to sort some problems but otherwise the production went well.
During the presscon of “Mumbai Love”, the producers and the director of the movie Benito Bautista summed everything up, it was just miscommunication.

The movie being a cross-cultural romantic comedy, cross-cultural din ang movie making process. Baka exaggeration lang ang unang naikuwento kina Martin and Kiko so naturally they became afraid and later on lang sila nasabihan that there are processes their production had to go through para makapag-shoot sa Mumbai.

Matatanggap namin ang explanation na ito para hindi na lumaki ang issue. Anyway, all is well and it did an advanced premiere na rin late this week.

We promised Solar Films’ PR Ms. Emmy Abuan that we will definitely catch up when it opens on Jan. 22 in selected theaters and will review it by Friday.
