“No more productions na rin,” kaswal nitong sagot.

“It’s A Wrap!”

“To our beloved Cinema 76 supporters:  It’s time for our last shot.

“Some goodbyes are harder to write than others, and this one hits us right where it hurts.  No matters how long the cameras roll, every film eventually comes to an end.

“After nearly 11 years of shared laughs, quiet tears, late-night discussions, and celebrating the absolute best of independent and mainstream cinema, Cinema 76 Film Society and Cinema 76 Café will officially close their doors on Sunday, October 26.

“When we first opened the Film Society in San Juan City back in 2016, our dream was simple, to create a cozy, welcoming home for film lovers, a space where microcinemas could thrive, independent filmmakers had a screen to call their own, and moviegoers could find a community.  Then came the Café, a space where both coffee and movie lovers could unwind and meet up.

“You gave us that and so much more.  You journeyed with us from San Juan to Anonas, and finally to Tomas Morato in Quezon City.  you filled our iconic couches, championed cinema, and made our space feel like a second home.

“We are endlessly grateful to every single one of you who walked through our doors, bought a ticket, ordered popcorn, stayed for a Q&A, met your favorite cast and crew, or simply hang out to talk about the movies you love.

“Before we roll the final credits, we want to spend theses remaining weeks with the people who built this space alongside us; you moviegoers, patrons, and fellow filmmakers.

“Consider this our warmest invitation to visit us every chance you get between now and October 25.  Come watch a movie, savor your favorite comforting dishes from our menu, drop by for a cup of coffee or a cold beer, grab your favorite Cinema 76 merch to take a piece of our history home with you, take one last photo, or just sit back and soak in the cinema magic one last time.  Let’s spend theses final days celebrating the art, the food, the culture, the memories, and the community we’ve built together over the last decade.

“Thank you for championing us, for supporting the pioneer of Philippine microcinemas and it’s F&B partner, and for letting us be part of your film journey.
