Martin Nievera nawalan ng US$3K, credit cards, anong konek kay Alex Eala?

DISMAYADO ang Concert King na si Martin Nievera matapos mawala ang kanyang credit card at halos US$3,000 cash sa kanyang wallet.

Ito’y matapos maiwan ni Martin ang kanyang bag sa loob ng eroplano na kanyang sinakyan patungong Florida mula sa Las Vegas.

Kuwento ng OPM icon, nagmamadali raw kasi siyang makababa ng eroplano para mapanood ang laban ng Filipina tennis superstar na si Alex Eala sa Wimbledon Grand Slam last Saturday, July 4.

Sa pamamagitan ng isang video na ipinost niya sa Facebook ngayong araw, July 8, ikinuwento ng singer ang naturang insidente.

Sinimulan ni Martin ang kanyang video sa pamamagitan ng pagbati kay Alex Eala, “On behalf of a grateful nation, I am, of course, one of your fans, but we thank you for your hardwork and dedication and great sportsmanship.

“Your super amazing shots and your humility when you talk of and speak of our country.

“Alex, you are a champion’s champion and I’m so proud to be your fan,” ang mensahe ng Kapamilya singer sa tennis champion.

Kasunod nga nito, ikinuwento na ni Martin kung paano niya naiwan ang kanyang bag at ang pagkawala nga ng mga credit card at cash sa kanyang wallet.

Sinusubaybayan daw ni Martin

ang laban ni Alex TV monitor ng eroplano pero nawalan na ng signal ang mga monitor habang pababa na ang kanilang aircraft.

“The story is upon descending in our flight as Alex Eala was ascending in her amazing play on court, I saw it was 5-3, the set were 5 to 3, and it was getting really exciting, right?

“As we were descending and she was ascending, all the television sets on the plane went off. All died.

“So, I’m freaking out right so I rushed out of the plane as quick as I can so I can catch the final part of her victory in the airport, and I forget my bag. My bag with money, credit cards, my passport, everything’s left in the plane.

“I’m so glad that you won, Alex, but just want you to know what I had to go through to get this bag back and this Labubu,” pagpapatuloy ni Martin.

Patuloy niya, “That’s not even the story. The story is we’re so excited, we’re so eager to see our champion win that I lost my my bag. Thanks, Alex, congratulations, you are a true hero.”

Sa caption ng FB post ni Martin, sinabi niyang bumalik siya agad sa airport nang mapansing wala na ang kanyang bag. 

“The flight was a JetBlue flight to Ft. Lauderdale out of Las Vegas and when I realized I left my bag only a few minutes after going through the security glass doors I went straight to the baggage counter to report my loss. 

“I had left my bag under the seat in front of me, but they would not let me go back and said you will have to file a report and hopefully by tomorrow we will call you if we find it. 

“What they don’t know is we put a tile in my wallet that does exactly what an AirTag does and later that day we saw my bag had not move all night. 

“But in the next morning we saw it on line move to a security area in the airport so we drove back to get it. No one called me to let me know they had it. 

“We just took it upon ourselves to go back. So we went back to the airport not even 24 hours later and to that same counter. 

“They remembered my panicked face and made me describe my bag. I told them it’s a black bag with a black ‘labubu’ toy on it. 

“All three people behind the counter said they had not seen anyone return a bag like that. one of them went to the back to check saying I have not seen that bag , but let me check. 

“As he was looking for it in the back we pressed an alarm from our phone that activated the file in my wallet and now they all can hear that my bag was right there all along. Or did they already know all this time? 

“I really can’t accuse and I won’t, but when I got the bag all my credit cards were taken and an all the cash in my wallet too. Under $3,000 cash. 

“When I asked why these things were missing they told me it’s policy to shred all credit cards and take all cash which will be returned to me in a check later on. Why didn’t they tell me this before I checked my bag? 

“They should have told me all of this before I realized my cards and cash were gone because now I am thinking the worst. 

“Long story short to this day and it’s been a couple, no one has contacted me regarding this check with the amount of cash I had in my wallet that they are supposed to return to me. Nothing. 

“And when I went on line to see the rules , they shred credit cards and take the cash if you don’t pick up the lost item after 30 days. I was there not even 24 (hours),” buong pahayag ni Martin.
