MAGING ang aktres na si Jodi Sta. Maria ay naglabas ng kanyang saloobin patungkol sa pananalasa ng magkasunod na Bagyong Tino at Uwan.
Sa kanyang Instagram page ay ibinahagi niya na bagamat resilient ang mga Pinoy sa mga ganitong pagkakataon ay dapat mag-demand pa rin ng mas maayos na treatment mula sa gobyerno.
“Filipinos are one of the strongest most resilient people I know. Yung babangon kahit anong sakuna. Kakayaning tumawa kahit anong delubyo ang dumaan. How we show up for each other never fails to move me,” panimula ni Jodi.
Ngunit para sa aktres, hindi lang dapat ang resilience ng mga Pinoy ang maging highlight sa tuwing binabagyo ang bansa.

“Most of the time I can’t help but ask..was it the intensity of the typhoon? Pwede kayang hindi ganito kalala? Kasi taon-taon naman tayong binabagyo. Or was it the failure of those who were meant to protect us? What part did we play in this?” tanong ni Jodi.
Dagdag pa niya, “I pray for healing for each and everyone affected by this storm and other recent calamities. We deserve better. And to those who could’ve done more to prevent this…may this be your wake-up call.”
Makikita sa kanyang post ang mga larawan ng mga nasalanta at iba’t-ibang paghihirap ng Pinoy matapos ang bagyo gaya ng mga nasirang tahanan at mga inanod ng baha.
“Even in the storm, you showed grace just by getting through the day. Not every strength looks like bravery. Sometimes, it’s simply holding on. But healing is not forgetting,” sabi pa ni Jodi.
Giit niya, “Healing is remembering and demanding better. Resilience has limits. We can’t keep surviving what could’ve been prevented. Let this be the storm that changed not just the weather.”
