Sam YG bumwelta: More than drowning in floods, we are drowning in corruption!
HINDI na nakatiis si radio at TV personality Sam YG at sumabog na rin siya sa social media hinggil sa katiwalian umano sa flood control projects ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Sa kanyang Instagram, diretsahang sinabi ng DJ-host na mas malala pa raw ang bansa sa korapsyon kaysa sa literal na baha.
“More than drowning in floods, we are drowning in corruption,” bungad ni Sam na halatang gigil na gigil.
Dagdag pa niya, “When the law no longer protects us from the corrupt but protects the corrupt from us, we are in deep trouble.”

Hindi lang siya humugot, kundi nanawagan din siya sa publiko na magising at lumaban para sa pagbabago.
Tanong pa ni Sam sa kanyang followers: “Can we also stop paying taxes till the government gets its act together? Imagine, we’ve been paying for all the luxury cars, trips, bags, etc. of these corrupt people all along. Baka pwedeng tax break muna?”
“Sana ‘di puro hearing. Sana may mangyari,” sey niya sa caption na tinutukoy ang mga walang katapusang imbestigasyon tungkol sa flood control projects na inuulan ng kontrobersya.
May pahabol na panawagan din si Sam para sa kapwa niya influencers at celebrities na huwag manahimik sa ganitong isyu.
“Malaki ang tax. Masakit ang tax, especially knowing that your hard-earned money is being spent on luxurious lifestyles of corrupt people. Could’ve spent your money on your family instead,” ani pa niya.
Sa comment section, makikitang sumang-ayon ang ilang kilalang personalidad, kabilang na sina Aga Muhlach, John Prats, Janno Gibbs, Benedict Cua, Samantha Bernardo, at marami pang iba.
