“In case you needed another reason to leave your abusive relationship,” ang nakasaad sa unang slide na ibinahagi niya.

Sa slide 2 naman mababasa ang caption na, “This was my dog during the 4 years that we lived with my ex…

“Her ears were always shot back.

“And her appetite went from food fiend to missing meals multiple days a week.

“I even took her to the vet to get lots of tests done because she was eating so little I thought she was sick…

“Her favorite places to sit (couch and bed) became a worry to her, because my ex would raise his voice when her fur got around the house.

“This was Penny a few months after moving into our new place”

“Her ears perked back up.

“And she hasn’t missed a meal since the day we left,” pagbabahagi pa ng IG user.

Ang advice pa niya sa mga dumaraan sa ganitong sitwasyon, “Leave because they deserve to live in peace, just as much as you do. I will never do that to you again Penny.”

Dagdag pa niya sa caption, “The truth behind the relationship that you’re afraid to leave behind: your dog can feel every bit of tension that you can.

“I still get mad at myself some days for not seeing the change in her behavior during this chapter of life, but I know it’s something I’ll never put her through again. Leave because they deserve it too.”

“I had 3 dogs back then (now i have 6), 1 of which was the most abused by my Narcissistic ex.

“It took 7 and a half years for me to wake up and i still regret not getting out earlier.

“I was blind for that long,” ani Carla.

At nang makawala na siya sa naturang relasyon, “Now, my dogs no longer shake out of terror, hide behind me or underneath the bed, cling to me whenever they’re afraid, no more tails tucked underneath their bodies, and no more ears pushed back.

“God is good. He made a way to get us all out and we’ve all been happier ever since,” sabi pa niya.
