Ulit-ulit nga akong nagtatanong sa sarili ko, ‘Am I in denial about the fear, kaya hindi ako umiiyak?’

“I learned about it, two weeks ago. So I’m set for surgery in July, and normally, and most of the time, dahil nga friendly siya, tatanggalin lang naman yung thyroid.

“So, full thyroidectomy ang kailangan. It solves the problem.

Patuloy pa niya, “Siguro because I’ve been through so much before, I feel like imposible namang hindi, hindi rin ako alagaan dito.

Difficult na and scary and crazy world that we live in, and it’s important that we continue to have faith.

I just found out I have thyroid cancer.

“And surprisingly, I am calm. But before you panic, ayon sa mga eksperto, thyroid cancer is often called the ‘friendliest’ cancer. And that’s good, because I’ve already been through worse.

“I’ve faced battles that broke me, seasons that nearly crushed me. But here I am still standing, still smiling, still kumikinang.

“I’ve survived storms that could’ve drowned me and this is just another wave I know I can ride, with God beside me.

“This diagnosis wasn’t part of my plan, but it’s part of God’s. And I know He’s walked with me through deeper valleys before, so I trust He’ll walk me through this too.

“Thyroid cancer. You’re just another name and I have faith in the One who’s above all names. So let’s do this, thyroid cancer. You picked the wrong girl.
