Marjorie, Leon emosyonal na nagpaalam sa yaya na nag-retire after 22 years
HEARTBREAKING pero puno ng pasasalamat ang recent social media post ni Leon Barretto, anak ni Marjorie, para sa kanilang longtime yaya na si Manang Ninay.
Nagretiro na kasi siya matapos ang mahigit dalawang dekada na serbisyo sa pamilya Barretto para naman makasama ang sariling pamilya at makapagpahinga na.
Sa Instagram, ibinandera ni Leon ang selfie picture nila ni Manang Ninay at kalakip niyan ang madamdaming mahabang caption.
“Had to say goodbye to my yaya of 22 years,” panimula ni Leon sa kanyang post.

Patuloy ng binata, “Truly heartbreaking but happy knowing you finally get to rest and enjoy life back in Cebu. You have sacrificed so much for our family, especially for me, from the moment you chose to take care of me.”
Hindi rin napigilan ni Leon na balikan ang lahat ng alaala nila ni Manang mula kinder hanggang makapagtapos siya sa kolehiyo.
“Would you believe that there was a time when I was smaller than you? [laughing emoji] You’ve guided me on the right path and taught me so many things, including how to speak Tagalog to the point you reviewed me almost every night for my Filipino subjects,” kwento niya.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa mahabang pasensya ni Manang at sa pagpapalaki sa kanya nang may disiplina.
“I’m sorry for being such a kulit and pasaway kid growing up but because of your discipline towards me, I have become a better person,” mensahe ni Leon.
Binalikan din ng anak ni Marjorie ang simpleng mga tagpo na kailanma’y hindi niya raw makakalimutan, kabilang na ang pagsundo sa kanya sa school, pagbuhat mula kwarto hanggang sala para lang magising at makakain, at ang pagmamahal ni Manang sa kanilang pamilya.
“For never leaving mom, helping her take care of us, protect us, and love us like your own. Love you so much Manang. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.” [red heart emoji],” aniya pa.
Nag-iwan naman ng komento si Marjorie sa post ng anak at ang sabi niya: “I would not have survived all those years without Manang Ninay. We love you!!!!!” [red heart emoji]
