Arjo Atayde inendorso ng Iglesia Ni Cristo sa muling pagtakbo sa kongreso

MULING inendorso ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) ang kandidatura ni Arjo Atayde na tumatakbong kongresista sa 1st District ng Quezon City para sa ikalawa niyang termino.
Isa si Arjo sa mga celebrity at public servant na kumakandito ngayong 2025 midterm elections na nakakuha ng suporta mula sa INC.
Ibinandera ng premyadong aktor ang kanyang pasasalamat sa lahat ng opisyal at miyemrbo ng Iglesia Ni Cristo, “Lubos po ang aking pasasalamat muli sa tiwalang ipinagkaloob ng mga Kapatid sa Iglesia Ni Cristo, lalo na kay Ka Eduardo V. Manalo.
“Ang inyong suporta ay inspirasyon namin upang ipagpatuloy ang tapat at maagap na serbisyo para sa bayan. Sama-sama tayong kikilos, aksyon agad,” pahayag ng anak ng award-winning actress at film producer na si Sylvia Sanchez.
Matapos ang tatlong taong paninilbihan sa kanyang mga constituents sa unang distrito ng Quezon City, muling tumatakbo ang husband ni Maine Mendoza para sa kanyang second term.
Naka-focus pa rin ang kanyang plataporma sa “employment, health care, education, and food security.” Nangako si Arjo na patuloy ang kanyang commitment “to sustain his ongoing projects, fulfill his legislative duties, and continue delivering honest public service” in Quezon City’s first district.”

Nu’ng umupo si Cong. Arjo noong Hulyo, 2022 ay nag-file na agad siya ng anim na panukalang-batas kabilang na ang The Eddie Garcia Bill katuwang ang kapwa kongresistang si Christopher de Venecia.
Dumiretso ito sa senado na inaprubahan din kaagad at pinirmahan ni Presidente Bongbong Marcos, Jr. noong Mayo, 2024 kaya naging ganap na itong Batas Republic Act 11996.
Ang nasabing batas ay tumatalakay sa iba’t ibang regulasyon para maisaayos ang oras ng trabaho, suweldo, kaligtasan sa lugar ng trabaho sa entertainment industry. Narito ang ilan pa sa mga nagawa ng kongresista.

*1,500 applicants connected to overseas jobs through the Taiwan Job Fair
*1,100 residents trained under TESDA and other livelihood initiatives
* 245 small entrepreneurs supported with ₱15,000 in capital via the Sustainable Livelihood Program
*60 dialysis patients a day receiving free treatment at the district’s new facility
*75,466 individuals provided with medical assistance
*4,598 students receiving CHED educational aid, and 1,410 scholars supported under Tulong Dunong and SMART
*132,567 families benefiting from the Rice Distribution Program
* 65,300 residents receiving free meals through Kusina on Wheels
*64,000 families given Pamaskong Handog during the holiday season
*7,789 families aided after fires and 3,501 families provided with burial assistance
*40,684 individuals extended financial assistance for various needs
Sabi ni Arjo, “On education and youth development, he shared that sa pamamagitan ng CHED Educational Assistance, 4,598 mag-aaral ang nabigyan ng suporta para maipagpatuloy ang kanilang pag-aaral, a total of
P2,817,000 in cash allowance ang naipamahagi sa 929 senior high school students sa ilalim ng Tulong Eskwela Program.”
Tumatakbo si Arjo sa ilalim ng Team Aksyon Agad kasama si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte at anim na konsehal na nakakuh rin ng endorses ng INC.
