“Beginning today, she will lead communications on PCG’s key initiatives, represent the organization in national and global conversations, and amplify the organizational efforts towards a more diverse and empowered future,” ayon sa pahayag ng PCG.

Sey niya, “The steady rise of women in leadership positions in the PCG is the culmination of decades of perseverance, shattering glass ceilings, and breaking barriers in the 21st century.”

Ang bagong spokesperson ay kasapi ng Coast Guard Officers’ Course “Sandiwa” Class 07-05.

Kasal siya kay PCG Capt. Jerome Cayabyab na kasalukuyang Regional Incident Command System CADRE para sa Calabarzon.

Hindi basta-basta ang track record ni Capt. Guirao-Cayabyab dahil siya ang nanguna sa pagtatatag ng PCG Pension and Gratuity Management Center, na ngayon ay kilala bilang Retirement and Benefits Administration Service.

Dati rin siyang nanungkulan sa PCG District Southern Tagalog at Education, Training and Doctrine Command.
