Kelley Day sinagot ang mga naging isyu, ibinandera healing journey

Kelley Day

Trigger Warning: Mental Health Disorder

Panimula ni Kelley, “In June 2022 I developed Panic Disorder & OCD, went into therapy and meds whilst practically disappearing from society for over a year.

“By June 2024, I had been on antidepressants (Zoloft – but not for depression) for 2 years. At the peak of my panic attacks, even slight hunger or a raised heart rate would trigger them—so I’d eat just to calm myself, and I stopped working out completely. I gained significant weight for the first time in my life, but I didn’t mind. Healing mattered more.”

“There were also rumors about me, a pregnancy, a third party, etc.—but none of it was/is true. I was simply dealing with a lot personally and within my family,” lahad ni Kelley.

Dagdag pa niya, “It was one of the hardest times of my life. But I feel so much better now, and I’m deeply grateful to those who stood by me.”

Lahad ni Kelley, “Over the past year, I tried to return to the body I feel most confident in. Even with fasting, clean eating, and exercise, nothing really worked—until last Dec 11 (my birthday), when I cut my Zoloft dose in half. By Feb, I stopped completely (with my doctor’s guidance).

“It was scary to stop something I thought I was dependent on, but over the past few months, my body and mind finally began responding.”

“Lastly, be mindful when commenting on someone’s body. ‘Tumaba ka,’ ‘You should eat more’—I’ve heard it all. Say it with kindness, concern, care. Health is everything,” giit pa ni Kelley.
