Ayon sa 5 a.m. bulletin ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA), “Typhoon Carina was last spotted some 290 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, moving northwest at 25 kilometers per hour (kph), with maximum sustained winds of 155 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 190 kph.”
“It also enhanced the southwest monsoon or habagat which is expected to bring moderate to intense rainfall in the western part of Luzon from Wednesday to Friday.”
