Yasmine Espiritu at Alfred Vargas
MAS matinding challenge ang pinagdaraanan ngayon ng asawa ni Quezon City councilor Alfred Vargas dahil sa ikaapat na pagkakataon niyang pagdadalang-tao.
Mismong ang wifey ni Konsi Alfred na si Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas ang nagbahagi ng delikado niyang pregnancy journey sa kanilang fourth baby.
Kuwento ni Yasmine, ibang-iba ang hirap na nararanasan niya ngayon kung ikukumpara sa pagbubuntis niya sa tatlong anak nila ni Alfred na sina Alexandra, Aryana, at Cristiano.
Idinaan ng misis ng actor-public servant sa Instagram ang nararamdaman niya sa bawat araw na lumilipas at habang palaki nang palaki ang kanyang tiyan, “20 weeks pregnant. I’ve made it halfway!
“I’m trying my best to document everything as much as I can since this will be my last time to be pregnant. This pregnancy has been very difficult mentally, physically and emotionally,” bahagi ng IG post ni Mommy Yasmine.
Nakararanas din daw siya ng tinatawag na hyperemesis gravidarum o “severe nausea and vomiting” na karaniwang nararanasan ng mga buntis.

“From suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum and GAD, to worrying about having a low placenta (it resolved itself already and high-lying na), and to having a subchorionic hemorrhage in the first trimester.
“I spent 13 weeks on modified bed rest, unable to take care of my children as I used to nor go out with my family.
“When I finally reached my second trimester, and started feeling a little bit better to resume my daily activities, we found out soon after that my cervix got shorter,” pagpapatuloy pa ng asawa ni Konsi Alfred.
Dugtong pa niya, “I now have to go back to modified bed rest and have to take isoxilan and progesterone for the remaining months of my pregnancy.
“Praying so hard for a miracle. Keeping the faith that it will not get any shorter and hope to reach full term or at least 35 weeks like with Cristiano.
“I’m exhausted, but mahal na mahal ka namin anak, lahat gagawin namin para sayo,” aniya pa.
Ikinasal sina Alfred at Yasmine sa pamamagitan ng civil wedding noong August, 2010 at sinundan nga ito ng kanilang dream church wedding noong July, 2017.
