Nicholas Cage bibida sa iconic role na ‘Dracula’, tampok din sina Nicholas Hoult at Awkwafina sa bagong horror-comedy film

MAHILIG ba kayo sa horror, comedy o action movies?
Aba, perfect diyan ang bagong pelikula na may titulong “Renfield.”
Pinagbibidahan ‘yan ng Hollywood actors na sina Nicholas Cage at Nicholas Hoult, pati na rin ng “Crazy Rich Asians” actress na si Awkwafina.
Ang nasabing pelikula ay ang modern take na kung saan ito ay iikot sa istorya ng naging toxic relationship ni Dracula (Nicholas Cage) at ng kanyang alalay na si Renfield (Nicholas Hoult).
Mapapanood sa trailer na gusto nang kumawala ni Renfield mula sa paglilingkod sa kanyang Master.
At dahil sa ipinakitang katapangan ng nakilala niyang police officer na si Rebecca (Awkwafina) ay na-inspire si Renfield na ipaglaban ang tama at magkaroon ng magandang kinabukasan na wala si Dracula.

“Renfield’s just exhausted with the prospect of continuing to do Dracula’s dirty work,” kwento ni Hoult sa inilabas na pahayag ng Universal Pictures.
“He’s worn down, beaten down and looking for an escape or some sort of spark to return to his normal life and what he misses.
“It’s a toxic relationship between Renfield and Dracula—they’ve been together for so long and they really know how to push each other’s buttons and work against each other,” chika pa niya patungkol sa pelikula.
Inamin naman ni Cage na ang naging hamon sa paggawa ng pelikula ay ‘yung gawin itong parehong nakakatakot at nakakatawa.
“The subject matter itself is not funny, it’s disturbing,” sambit ni Cage.
Aniya pa, “But at the root of it, there is a kind of love there. And then there are moments where it’s just abuse. It’s the dark side of human relationships that we’re exploring in this. That’s not an easy subject to take on, and certainly, to give it the spin of comedy, it’s tricky.”
Ibinahagi naman ni Awkwafina na nag-enjoy siyang makatrabaho at maka-loveteam si Hoult.
“Nick Hoult is the perfect leading man,” sey ng aktres.
Dagdag pa niya, “His energy is magnetic, and what he’s bringing to this character is a level of humor that is really hard to embody. I found myself cracking up all the time when I was working with him.”
