MULA sa 126 na “neophyte lawmakers” o baguhang mambabatas, nangunguna sa “highest performing representative”si House Senior Deputy Majority Leader at presidential son na si Sandro Araneta Marcos.
Base sa isinagawang “Boses ng Bayan” survey ng RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD), nakakuha si Sandro ng 95.8% performance score.
Nakamit ni Jolo Revilla ng Cavite ang pangalawang pwesto sa kamangha-manghang rating na 91.7%.
Hindi naman nalalayo ang marka ni Edu Rama ng Cebu na may 91.5%.
Naging tie naman sa ikatlong puwesto sina Loreto Amante ng Laguna (89.4%), Marvin Rillo ng Quezon City (88.7%), Emeng Pascual ng Nueva Ecija (88.6%), Rhea Gullas ng Cebu (88.6%), Marivic Co-Pilar ng Quezon City (88.5%), Jay Khonghun ng Zambales (88.5%), at Lordan Suan ng Cagayan de Oro (88.4%).
Nasa pang-apat na pwesto naman sina Ando Oaminal ng Misamis Oriental (88.1%), Migz Villafuerte ng Camarines Sur (87.7%), Midy Cua ng Quezon (87.6%), at Aniela Tolentino.
At ang kumukupleto sa top 5 ng “highest performing representatives” ay sina Franz Pumaren ng Quezon City (86.6%), Dean Asistio ng Caloocan (86.4%), Cynthia Chan ng Lapu-Lapu (86.4%), PM Vargas ng Quezon City (86.2%), Ian Amatong ng Zamboanga del Norte (86.1%), at Marie Escudero ng Sorsogon (85.8%).
Ayon kay Dr. Paul Martinez ng RPMD, mahalaga ang mga ganitong klaseng survey upang ma-monitor kung gaano kaepektibo ang mga binbonoto ng kababayan para sa bansa.
“These evaluations are essential in providing a glimpse into the performance of the country’s district and party-list representatives, who have been tasked to represent every district and the marginalized sectors of society,” sey ni Martinez.
Aniya pa, “Through these ratings, the public can gauge the effectiveness of these representatives in fulfilling their mandate and addressing the needs of their constituents.”
