NAPAIYAK si Kim Chiu nang bumisita siya sa isang charity event for kids.
Nag-post si Kim ng photos ng kanyang pagbisita sa charity and on her way ay meron pala siyang dinadala.
When the kids sang a song which they composed, napaluha ang “It’s Showtime” host.
“On my way here, I was complaining about personal stuff and things. Minor stuff, petty stuff na akala ko mabigat, but the minute I step foot in this place, hearing their stories, I watch them dance and sing beautiful songs, most especially yung kantang cinompose nila together,” say ni Kim.
Noong una, pinaglalabanan pa niya ang kanyang emotion pero bumigay din siya.
“The song hit me in a way nilalabanan ko yung tears ko. It’s about their dreams, what they want in life, and what they learned.
“After hearing those songs, a kid approached me and asked me if she could hug me and bigla niyang nakwento briefly yung pinagdaanan niya, and all she needs is a hug.
“After that pinag message ako. Nakakahiya sa mga bata pero, I cried. Seeing them strong at their age, seeing them smiling no matter what happened to them before they came in this shelter home.
“Seeing them being so young, innocent, very hopeful, and most of all, malakas ang tiwala sa panginoon,” say ni Kim.
“Masabi ko talaga walang-wala yung pinagdadaanan ko sa pinagdadaanan nila. I told them they inspire me and hindi sila pinapabayaan ng Panginoon, malakas sila, and they will grow as strong independent women who will conquer the world and inspire more people with their stories.
“The most important kind of strength is resilience and the self-will to keep on moving forward in times of inevitable adversity. That is strength in mind and heart that I see in them,” dagdag pa niya.
Ang daming nag-react positively sa post na iyon ni Kim.
“Thank you, Ms. Kim, for encouraging our girls. You were right when you said that they’re strong. They really are. As their volleyball coach, I am beyond proud of these girls. I know they will all fly very high soon. Again, thank you.”
“Just seeing the girls so excited and happy to meet such an inspiring woman like you truly made my day! Thank you for yesterday, Kim!”
“There’s no better person to be an inspiration to these kids, than you. I truly felt your heartfelt words on this post.”
