“HARD work and faith!” Yan ang dalawa sa mga itinuturing na magic words ni Miss Pasay City Celeste Cortesi sa pagkapanalo niya bilang Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
Sa pamamagitan ng social media, nagbahagi ang Pinay beauty queen ng kanyang saloobin matapos koronahang Miss Universe Philippines 2022 last Saturday na ginanap sa Mall of Asia Arena.
Nag-post ang dalaga ng kanyang litrato sa IG na may caption na, “Good morning Universe! Yesterday (April 30), as I was walking on that beautiful stage all I was thinking was my mom and dad. The strength I got from them is indescribable.”
Patuloy pa niya, “I’ve worked so hard for this, I’ve prepared. And I let God do the rest in knowing that whatever is meant for me will never pass me by.”
Sabi pa ni Celeste, napakalaki ng naitulong sa kanya ng mga hinarap na challenges nitong mga nagdaang taon para mas maging matapang at matatag sa buhay.
“I’ve grown so much since I came to the Philippines five years ago and I really promised myself that I would only join a pageant if ready to take the responsibility of a crown, and I am now,” aniya.
Umaasa siya na mas marami pang kababaihan ang ma-inspire sa kanyang kuwento at sa tagumpay niya bilang Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
“I’ve received my second chance and I am beyond honored and grateful to be able to represent my country in the Miss Universe stage.
“I hope that with my story I can inspire so many to never give up on their dreams because through hard work, perseverance and faith you can achieve anything you want,” lahad pa ni Celeste Cortesi.
