“All throughout the pandemic, before January 2022, hindi naman ako nagkaroon ng COVID.
“And I was one of the lucky ones na talagang kahit nakakalabas dahil sa trabaho, nung time na yun nag-a-outreach programs kami, hindi ako tinamaan ng COVID.
I don’t know how, I was very careful but I still got it.
“After I got it, sinasabi nila, mild ang Omicron. Pero sa experience ko, parang hindi naman. Lahat ng symptoms, nakuha ko, like difficulty sa breathing, masakit ang katawan and all of that, although natapos siya mga four or five days lang.
“But then, I realized, even more na kailangan talaga na alagaan yung health. Kailangan yung immune system, laging binu-boost.
“To tell you, honestly, when I was turning 30, I was so scared to turn 30.
Nagse-settle down na.
“E, at that time, I was at the point of my life na ibang-iba pa ang buhay ko noon. Ibang-iba pa yung circumstances and I wasn’t there yet.
But then, when I finally turned 30, parang iba pala yung buhay.

“Now, I think I am more comfortable with my own skin. I can talk about my weaknesses. I can talk about my vulnerabilities na hindi ko napag-uusapan when I was in my 20s na mas siguro, marami kang reservations or insecurities when you’re in your 20s.
“Pero ngayon, in my 30s, parang kaya ko nang sabihin freely what’s in my heart. Mas less filtered ka na and parang mas masaya yung 30’s for me, personal experience ko.
