Myrtle Sarrosa at Aileen Choi-Go
“Talagang inalagaan nila ako and I’m so grateful to them. I did ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ with them, then guestings in ‘Wish Ko Lang’, “Magpakailanman’, ‘Tadhana’, and now I’m hosting ‘iBilib’.
“Wala. I’m so busy with my life and work, kasi I also put up my own small production agency and we do videos and online content.
“I also went back into gaming and Thai and Malaysian companies consult me about it,” chika ng Kapuso star.
“And advice nga of my Big Sis Aileen, hindi kailangang madaliin as it will come in the right time. Yun din mismo ang advice namin sa students when we do school tours. Don’t rush your lovelife and avoid teen pregnancy,” lahad pa ng dalaga.
“I’m so happy to renew my contract with Sisters. When I was told I’d renew, naiyak ako kasi I was still in school in 2016 when they got me at yung talent fee nila, nakatulong sa akin to do my film projects.
“It helps me na mapagsabay ang pag-aaral at pagtatrabaho sa showbiz. Then I graduated and we started doing school tours all over the country with their big boss, Ms. Aileen Choi-Go.
“Kasi she’s really like a big sister to me. She even helped me put up my own business na food cart. Ang dami na naming pinuntahan, pinagsamahan. Binaha kami, binagyo, na-stuck kami sa eroplano paikot-ikot kami for three hours di makababa yung plane due to bad weather.
Now, napkins and pantyliners and later, puwede akong mag-promote ng kanilang adult diapers,” natatawang chika ni Myrtle.
She’s been a part of our growth. Totoong tao siya kaya masarap pakisamahan. She’s in showbiz pero hindi siya showbiz.
“It’s like we’re really two sisters and we constantly communicate with each other. It’s not just her contract with us as endorser, but we are like family.
“She’s so cooperative. Once, we attended an event and after she performed, she went back to her room in our hotel. But when she learned that Sisters got three awards as a top brand, she insisted on going down again to be with us,” aniya pa.
Tungkol naman sa kanilang pet project na school tours, “Tuloy pa rin kami sa school tours to help empower students in various parts of the country to do good in school.
“We give them awards for their accomplishments to help encourage them and their teachers. We give equipment, computers, speakers, microphones to the schools,” sabi pa ni Ms. Aileen.
Para naman kay Myrtle, “Challenging ang pandemic kasi we can’t go to them personally. But we attended their zoom classes to maintain our connection with them. Students ask me questions like how do you achieve your dreams and succeed in life?
“I always tell them to prioritize their studies, not their lovelife, and avoid teenage pregnancies. Hopefully, when the virus is over, we can go back to our face-to-face tours kasi iba pa rin yung may personal interaction ka with them,” sabi ng aktres.
