INILABAS na ng Miss Eco International organization ang tourism video ng representative ng Pilipinas na si Kathleen Paton.
Sa nasabing video clip, ipinakita ang iba’t ibang lugar sa Pilipinas habang inilalarawan ito ni Miss Eco Philippines 2021.
“Passionate advocate for mental health awareness and conserving the environment” ang panimulang description ng dalaga sa kanyang sarili.
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “Due to our geographical location, we are visited by an average of 20 typhoons and storms a year, wreaking havoc wherever it lands.
“Scientists around the world agree that climate change has a huge impact on typhoons.
“That’s why my aim as Miss Eco Philippines is to inspire people to join this movement and educate them in saving our planet earth,” ang pahayag pa ng Pinay beauty queen na isinilang at lumaki sa isla ng Boracay.
“So let’s start by being environmentally conscious. It all starts with small changes at home — recycling, using less plastic, and thrifting clothes instead of buying new items,” sabi pa ni Kathleen.
Samanatala, nabanggit din ng dalaga sa kanyang intro video ang nararamdaman niyang excitement sa pagtungo sa Egypt, kung saan gaganapin ang Miss Eco International pageant sa darating na March.
Sabi ni Kathleen tungkol sa nasabing bansa, “It’s a country I only ever visited in history books and movies.
“I’m excited to be able to breathe in and embrace the history, the sights, the people, and its cuisine,” dagdag pa ng dalaga.
Kung matatandaan, nagpakitang-gilas ang dalaga na isa ring aktres at singer hindi lang sa pagrampa kundi pati na rin sa final question-answer round ng Miss World Philippines 2021.
Ang tanong sa kanya ay kung ano ang isang bagay na kailangan niyang paglabanan. At ito ang sagot ni Kathleen, “One thing that you need to overcome is fear with your confidence and the fear of being rejected. I myself have suffered a lack of confidence when I was younger.
“I wasted a lot of time being stuck at home because I was afraid of going out of my comfort zone and I would tell my younger self even that if I could go back in time to overcome this fear because you have no idea what’s out there, and what’s there for you,” aniya pa.
