“HINDI na tayo babalik sa mga issue na 35 years old na!” Ang mariing pahayag ng Presidential candidate na si Bongbong Marcos sa gitna ng natatanggap na batikos mula sa publiko.
Mas dumami pa ang namba-bash at nang-ookray kay Bongbong nang tanggihan niya ang imbitasyon ng GMA 7 para sa “The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews” na umere nitong nagdaang Sabado.
Tinawag siyang “duwag” at “guilty” ng kanyang detractors dahil “natakot” nga raw siyang harapin at sagutin ang mga maiinit na issue na kanyang kinasasangkutan ngayon.
Kahapon, para harapin ang mga akusasyon sa kanya, humarap siya sa publiko sa pamamagitan ng One News interview. Dito, nabanggit niya na ang mga “anti-Marcos” position ay kasingkahulugan na rin ng pagiging “bias.”
Ito ang dahilan ng anak ng dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. kung bakit hindi siya pumayag na magpa-interview kay Jessica Soho na tinawag nilang “biased.”
“Pinagbabasehan ko lang yung karanasan ko, yung mga experience ko in the last few years, hindi lang ako pati yung kapatid ko, basta may kinalaman sa Marcos eh, talagang may bias lang talaga ang pakiramdam ko.
“Kung ganu’n na naman ang magiging usapan wala nang silbi yun,” katwiran ni Marcos.
Aniya pa, “Hindi na tayo babalik sa mga issue na 35 years old na. Na-decide na yan, e. Puntahan natin itong mga mahahalagang problema natin ngayon.
“What questions do you need to ask that have not been asked…why are we doing this?” aniya pa.
Mariin din niyang itinanggi na isa siyang duwag matapos ngang mag-trend sa Twitter ang hashtag #MarcosDuwag dahil hindi nga siya humarap sa panayam ni Jessica.
“Wala naman akong iniiwasan, e, basta ang ninanais ko lang ay pag-usapan natin ang issues of the day.
“Siguro naman sa pinagdaanan ko sa buhay ko maliwanag naman na di ako duwag na tao at di lang yun, lahat naman hinaharap ko,” depensa pa ni Marcos.
Nauna nang ipinagtanggol ng GMA si Jessica Soho matapos ngang akusahan ng kampo ni Bongbong Marcos ng pagiging bias. Narito ang kanilang official statement.

Panfilo Lacson, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Sen. Manny Pacquiao, and Vice President Leni Robredo—have chosen to participate and take the opportunity to explain their advocacies to the public.
