Kim Chiu at Andrea Brillantes

Wala naman yata siyang nagawang major kapalpakan sa show to merit a boot.

Kung si Kim nga ang aalisin sa “It’s Showtime,” we feel na it is for a good reason. And since it is a lock-in taping, hindi na possible na mag-host siya ng noontime show.

And then she realized na bagay itong name bilang drag queen.

Ang ganda ng sinabi ni Andrea about drag, “For me, drag can be gender-less. You can create whoever or whatever you want to be, put in what you wish you had and let go of what you wished you didn’t have.

“Drag can be anything and anything can be turned into drag. It is art. It speaks for itself. It feels for you. It makes more of what is less.

“And from generation to generation, drag continues to evolved because drag is a lot of things. But what I am most certain of is the feeling I felt when they first put me on my drag.

“The sugar rush in me of seeing the character I made, Valentine Royale and for the first time and forever, I looked at the mirror with full make up on.

“It’s like Valentine took all my insecurities away that I thought was impossible. I guess I was wrong because at that moment I felt flawless.

“I was ready to face the world and I think that’s the most important about being drag. The feeling, the energy, the confidence that it gives other queens is what makes it special,” aniya pa.
