I went through a lot of things. Sabay-sabay ‘yan. So I would get anxious about the pandemic.

“Then nawala ang franchise ng ABS. I lost my means to be able to assert myself to my family that I am the provider,” kuwento ni Kuya Kim sa chikahan nila ng dating aktres at vlogger na rin ngayon na si Rica Peralejo.

And then the kids were going through a lot of things also. And then, of course, relationship with the wife. Sabay-sabay lahat ‘yan eh. So talagang para kang bugbog-sarado.”

“But I’m thankful dahil kung hindi ako Kristiyano, hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko. But as a Christian kasi, palaging may hope palagi,” lahada pa ni Kuya Kim.

I go back to the Word all the time. And I think of characters in the bible that give me inspiration.”

Aniya pa, “There was a time last year during quarantine when I felt I was alone. I felt I had no one in my left, no one in my right. And I was in the dark. But King David, in one of the Psalms said that your praise will forever be on my lips.”

“Kung akala niyo si Kuya Kim napaka-steady, there was a time when I was a bit depressed, a bit bothered. If you have to see a professional, go.

“Prayer works. But if you have to see a professional or a mentor or a pastor or a grief counselor, it works,” paalala pa niya sa madlang pipol lalo na sa mga nawawalan na ng pag-asa dahil sa sobrang hirap na dinaranas ngayong panahon ng pandemya.

Payo pa niya sa mga Pinoy, “In case it happens, worry not. If you think that life is so stable and life is so beautiful, it is beautiful, but there will be 180-degree turns, there will be pauses.

“But when it happens, take comfort that there is someone in control. And it is not you. And all we need to do is believe and lean on Him totally,” sabi pa ng TV host.

“Never was there a time in my life that I totally leaned on my Savior Jesus Christ than this pandemic,” panghuling mensahe ni Kuya Kim.
