Nathalie Hart umaming naging anorexic: I’m now comfortable with my skin, with my own body

“I think importante talaga na pakinggan natin kung ano’ng sasabihin ng mga ibang tao tungkol sa mga katawan natin because I feel that they’re just looking out for us.

“And sometimes what they see is what we refuse to believe. So, if they can see na you’re not looking healthy, then maybe you’re not seeing that.

“So, maybe you should take a step back, look at what you’re doing. Is what you’re doing right? ‘Ah ok, maybe I should be making a few adjustments in how I eat. Maybe I should be making a few adjustments in my workouts.’

“So, that’s why I think it’s important that we listen to what other people have to say,” paliwanag ni Iya.

And it’s easier for other people to just tell us what to do.

“There was a time na I was very anorexic at the time, and they told me na parang, ‘O, why are you doing this to yourself?’

“And I’m like, ‘Oh, ’cause I think it looks pretty’ and things like that. Ganu’n yung tingin at feeling ko that time sa ginagawa ko.

“Nu’ng time na ‘yon, I was very happy. It was my choice. Pero sinabi nila sa akin na ‘You have to stop this.’

“And then when I actually stopped it, I felt better na I was actually comfortable with my own skin, with my own body.

“So, sa akin importante na may, hindi naman sa may makikialam, but, they will comment sa tunay na pinagdaraanan mo,” paliwanag pa ng aktres na produkto at nagsimula rin sa StarStruck ng GMA.
